Harve Bennett
TV and film writer and producer -- via the New York Times. AKA Harvard Bennett Fischman. He is best known for reinvigorating the "Star Trek" franchise with his scripts and producing work. He created the Star Trek films II through V. He also created memorable series and works such as "The Mod Squad," "Rich Man, Poor Man," "Th Bionic Woman," "The Six Million Dollar Man," and a good TV adapatatin of "From Here to Eternity." As a child, he was once a rather famous Quiz Kid -- a radio show in which precocious children answered difficult questions.

Albert Maysles
Filmmaker -- via the New York Times. With his brother David and alone, he created some of the most influential documentaries in American history -- among them "Salesman," "Gimme Shelter," and "Grey Gardens." He made technical improvements, especially with sync sound, that allowed him to shoot "fly on the wall"-style observational films. Most of all, he had the sense when to shoot, and how to keep people relaxed.
