Brian Priestman

Conductor and music director -- via the Denver Post. My first conductor! A bright and ebullient spirit who infectiously transmitted his love of classical music to me immediately. We were bused to the old Denver Auditorium Theatre (now the site of the Ellie Caulkins Opera House) as schoolkids, where Priestman held sway in that nasty old acoustical nightmare. He talked to us, not down to us; he made us laugh, and he clearly demonstrated the beauty of his vocation.
