The NY Times gets into the act . . .

New feature will reprint interesting obits from publications around the country. Hmmm . . . sounds familiar . . .

This used to be a mainstream feature of the wire services, eliminated by most metropolitan dailies as the news hole shrank. I view it more as a retreat by the NYTimes - they will be printing material produced by others....

It does sound vaguely familiar... Ummm... no, I guess it isn't after all?

Although I've heard imitation is a form of sincere flattery.
