LOved Willie. Back inthe late 60's early 70's his band "Plant and Sea" and my band "Warm" were good friends and spent a lot of time together in Greenville, NC. He was a huge inspiration to the musician community, as a musician and human being. Such wonderful energy. He went on to form another band, "Lumbee" , which we all made a point of going to see when we we could. Lost track of him after that, but never forgot him and his music.
