As a deputy with the Los Angeles County Public Administrator's office, for a period of time I managed the apartment building in which Wanda resided while the property was in probate.
When Wanda saw me, she would invite me into her apartment where she would tell me all about her career as an opera singer, & lovingly speak of her deceased husband & son. She also gave me a copy of her published poems.
I found Wanda to be a very sweet & charming person. I will miss her.
