  1. Frank Dezelan was a wonderful and brave man. He accomplished his goal of becoming a MLB umpire. Unfortunately, his career was cut short at the age of 42, due to a brain tumor. He survived a total of 6 brain surgeries. He passed at the age of 81, and his legacy of a life well lived will endure. He is noted in the Baseball Hall of Fame.
