Len Gilmore
Determined baseball player -- via Baseball Fever. He pitched one game in the majors, for the Pirates, on Oct. 1, 1944.
Len Gilmore was my father and the greatest man I have ever known or will ever know. He taught me the values of integrity, honesty, courage, and determination. He loved the game of baseball, his family, and his God. He lived life fully and with a passion and a spirit that will forever influence his daughters, granddaughters and those who loved him.
