Eileen (Zimmer) Deneen Yaseen

Soprano and voice teacher who specialized in "mono-operas," which she adapted and in which she played all the parts -- via the Chicago Tribune.

  1. Eileen was my first voice teacher, age 17-19. Much later, I was able to contribute to her 90th birthday Festschrift and to let her know that I was proud to be living a life so similar to hers. I was also able to tell her that I still used (and teach) her exercises. She was great.
