Rhys Isaac

Australian historian, the only to ever win a Pulitzer Prize. He won for his 1983 tome, "The Transformation of Virginia, 1740-1790."

  2. I knew, respected, learned from and taught from Rhys Isaac's work. He was simply a wonderful historian and a terrific person. I just learned of his death, and feel the news reverberating through me.

  3. Only now have I heard of Rhys's passing. He was a wonderful person, an amazing historian - not my supervisor but through his questioning and commentary contributed much to the final work.
