Garry Shider

Composer, guitarist extraordinaire, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member was a key part of Parliament, Funkadelic, and the P-Funk All-Stars. Via the Star-Ledger.

He was popularly known as "Diaper Man" for his distinctive concert-wear, but he was so much more. I got to hear you play, Garry, and I am richer for it. God bless you!

  1. Thanks for posting. LOVE the PFunk, and it won't be the same without Diaperman. He's now in a new dimension funking with other PFunkers like Tiki Fulwood, Ray Davis, Eddie Hazel and Glen Goins. He sure will be missed here.

Just found out about your blog while googling news about Garry Shider. I'm a road comic based out of Chicago. Good luck with the new venture. The road sure isn't what it was. :(
